Recommended Inspection Schedules
Regular inspection, servicing, and testing are essential for workplace safety and efficiency. Our rigorous procedures ensure that you are always in safe hands, no matter your requirements.
Airless & Air Combi Sprayers
For daily users of high-performance coatings, quarterly servicing is recommended. For those applying standard coatings fortnightly, a bi-annual service is advised. Annual servicing is sufficient for monthly users.
Our standard servicing includes:
- Initial electrical and visual inspection
- Mechanical visual inspection
- Initial run-up to check unit capabilities
- Pump, manifold, gun, and hose removal and inspection
- Motor spin and control board test
- Cleaning of all parts, including cart, stand, and covers
- Workshop report if additional work is needed
- Reassembly with new parts
- Electrical PAT testing (coming soon)
- Mechanical testing, including high-pressure and visual inspection
Airline Breathing Equipment
As required by HSE, breathing air tests must be conducted every 400 hours or every three months, whichever comes first. Breathing contaminated air from an airline-fed blast helmet poses serious health risks, so regular testing is crucial to protect employees.
Gas Detectors
Calibration of gas monitors, such as the GVS RPB GX4, depends on usage and can range from 6 months to 2 years. If your monitor fails a bump test or needs calibration, send it to us for servicing.
Air Compressors
For best practice, air compressors should be serviced annually or every 2,000 hours, whichever comes first, depending on usage levels.
