Service / Workshop / Field engineer

The role will primarily be based in our workshop, however if required, will be expected to work away on installs from one to several days.

This work could be lone work or as part of a team

Key responsibilities: –

  • Involved in building our own equipment
  • Involved with installations & commissioning
  • Involved with service work on our equipment or installs, ensuring all work is done in a timely & cost-effective manner
  • Investigation, diagnosis & rectification of breakdowns on customer equipment
  • Routine servicing on customers equipment
  • Completion of service sheets
  • Provide technical support to customers during service or breakdowns & via the phone

The candidate should possess: –

  • Experience in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in fault finding on mechanical / pneumatic equipment will be an advantage
  • A proactive & enthusiastic approach
  • Excellent communications & interpersonal skills
  • Experience in lone or team working
  • Possess a clean, full driving licence

The candidate will be responsible for effectively & efficiently completing all routine maintenance, assembly builds, installations, servicing & breakdowns for a range of our products within the workshop or in the field.

Salary negotiable.

Stores Person

Key responsibilities include:

  • Stock control
  • Sending and receiving parcels
  • Loading and unloading vehicles

You will need a full UK driving licence. Forklift truck licence preferred, though not essential as a full training course will be provided.  Computer competency (experience with Mircosoft Excel specifically) and excellent telephone communication skills an advantage.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
  • Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
  • Location: Langtoft, Peterborough
